Orphelinant Foyer Ecologique Pierre-Salveti -Port-au-Prince Haiti Institution of Saint Dominique-Titanyen Haiti

These two institutions were founded by Fr. Moise Charles Jr. in 2010 as a consequent of the devastated earthquake. The orphanage provides for shelter, food, and education to all children who live there and for education of the children that lives outside the institution (community nearby). There are currently 79 Children/ Youth from ages 1 to 26. The institution is currently facing the worse financial hardship due to the political situation in Haiti. They were forced to leave everything behind due to the gangs that are taking possession of the country.

Volunteering at the Amigos en Amor y Misericordia has been a humbling and rewarding experience. It's inspiring to see the dedication of the staff and the positive impact they have on the children's lives.

I have been a donor and volunteer with Amigos en Amor y Misericordia formerly known as Foundation Montesinos for several years. The management of the organization have always been very involved and truly care about the children in the orphanage. I feel very proud to help this organization as many of the people involved volunteer much of their time and money to make sure that the children can have shelter, food, and education. I look forward to continuing to assist this organization and serve this community.
